The Lubéron
Stretched from Cavaillon to Manosque, The Lubéron is a mountain sometimes wild and with few inhabitants. It’s a setting with very various reliefs and in the vegetation we can find pines, oaks, maples or cedars. You have to visit the National park of Lubéron that conserve the natural environment and its cultural patrimony in perfect balance. At the north of the Lubéron, there are great cliffs and in the south, undulating plains. Lubéron is also the Provence of Giono, Pagnol or Cézanne, the one of the lavender’s perfume, cicada songs and mid-aged villages such as Gordes, Ménerbes, Oppede-le-vieux, Roussillon or Lourmarin. The Lubéron offers to its visitors an infinite variety of colorful and perfumed landscapes.
